Mary A. Hall-Bower

Mary A. Hall-Bower, age 94, died Saturday, December 25, 2010, at Lake Vista in Cortland, OH. She was born September 26, 1916, in Gustavus Township, Ohio, a daughter of Glenn and Katherine (Delaney) Thompson. Mrs. Hall married Charles S. Hall on June 19, 1937, and together they owned and operated a dairy farm in Gustavus for many years. She was a member of the Gustavus Federated Church; a member of the Gustavus Mother�s Club; and a lifelong member of the Farm Bureau. She married T. Franklin Bower on May 12, 2002, and together lived in Punta Gorda, FL for the past eight years. Mrs. Hall is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Hall, on Feb. 18, 2000; and her son, Ronald W. Hall in 1961. She is survived by her four children, Ruth Ann (Bill) Philbrick of Chesterland,OH, Marie H. (Thomas) Logan of Gustavus, OH, Katherine J. (Gordon) Pease of Gustavus, OH, and C. David (Laura) Hall of Gustavus, OH; her husband, T. Franklin Bower of Sunbury,OH; her three step children, Marilyn (Randy) Clark of Sunbury, OH, Thomas Bower of Sunbury, OH, and Raymond Bower of Niles,OH; fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and many step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was being with her family. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 11 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH. A private burial will take place in Gustavus Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 28th from 5 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
