Mary Irene Webb

Kinsman, Ohio – Mary Irene Webb, age 64, died on Friday, November 1, 2013 at her home in Kinsman, with her family by her side. She was born on March 2, 1949, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of Helen Irene (Slobodnik) and James Maurice Kane. A 1968 graduate of Conneaut High School, Mary was a Kinsman resident since 2006. On December 17, 1972 she married Leslie Charles Webb. She was formerly of Bingham, Maine for twenty-seven years. Mary was a member of the Kinsman United Methodist Church, where she was very active. She was formerly a member of the Waterville Congregational Church and was a volunteer for the Waterville Animal Shelter. Mary drove the senior bus and volunteered for Meals on Wheels, and was a supporter for Child Fund for over thirty years. She was active in many organzations that saves, protects or adopted cats and other animals. Mary is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Kane and Noreen Mendenhall. Survivors include her husband of forty years, Chuck Webb of Kinsman, Ohio; two daughters, Melissa A. (Michael) Persavich of Piedmont, South Carolina and Heather A. (Jeffrey) Iafrati of Sterling, Massachusetts; three grandchildren, Sedona, Benjamin and Samuel and two brothers, Joseph (Lynette) Kane and Patrick (Eileen) Kane, both of Leavittsburg, Ohio. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013, at 6:30pm at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio, with Rev. David McKinnon officiating. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5:00pm until the time of services.
