Merlin O. "Buss"

Merlin O. "Buss" Lee, 91, of Lake Wales,Florida, passed away at 2:05 P.M., Saturday, November 19, 2005 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland,OH, of congestive heart failure. He was born June 18, 1914, in Hicksville, Ohio, one of six children of Howard and Anna (Ridenour) Lee. His early years were spent in Gustavus, Ohio, where he graduated from high school. He then moved to Fowler, Ohio and was employed at various times at Peerless Electric, H.K. Porter, American Welding, and was self employed in a spraying business, all the while farming part time. He retired to Lake Wales, Florida, in the mid 1980's enjoying the sun until health issues brought him back to Ohio this past year. He is survived by his loving wife, Rita (Kennedy) Lee, whom he married October 5, 1935; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Chris Lee of Cortland, OH; three granddaughters, Jennifer (Barry) Noble of Lansdale, PA, Jamie (Gregor) Gilliom of Columbus, OH, and Karen (Jeff) Davidson of Fredericktown, OH; and nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, OH. Burial will take place in Gustavus Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. on Tuesday prior to services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Shepherd of the Valley Endowment Fund.
