Michael R. Jackson

Johnston, Ohio - Michael R. "Weasel" Jackson, age 39, died on August 12, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown, Ohio. He was born on August 16, 1969, the son of Barbara K. (Criddle) Quinn and Raymond R. Jackson. A lifelong resident, Mike was a 1987 graduate of Maplewood High School. Mike helped lay gas lines in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and New York for different utility companies. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, keeping up the lawn and Harley-Davison motorcycles. Mike is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents. Survivors include his mom, Barbara C. (Anthony) Quinn of Johnston, Ohio; his father whom he lived with, Raymond R. Jackson of Johnston, Ohio; a sister, Tracey R. (Charlie) Bassett of Bristolville, Ohio; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Gail Criddle and a niece, Gena Bassett of Pittsburgh. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2009 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio.
