Milton C. Staude, age 81, of Andover, OH, died Sunday, October 12, 2008, at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, PA. He was born May 14,1927, in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of Valentine and Harriet (Faulck) Staude. Formerly of Pittsburgh, Mr. Staude had lived in Andover since 1993. He was employed as an engineer for many years for Rust Engineering and R.T. Patterson Co. in Pittsburgh. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh; and was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Glenshaw Presbyterian Church in Glenshaw, PA; and was a member of the Masons. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid gardener. Mr. Staude is survived by his beloved companion, Pearle B. Pfendler of Andover, OH; his son, Gary M. (Kathleen) Staude; his granddaughter, Kaitlin Staude; and best friends, Grant R. and Russell W. Pfendler. He is preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH.
