Mona Faye Davis

Andover, Ohio - Mona Faye Davis, age 73, died on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Andover Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation of Andover. She was born on September 21, 1943 in Seth, West Virginia, a daughter of Stella (Kirk) and Ray Barker. A longtime Rome resident, Faye worked for the former K. D. Manufacturing of Orwell for over thirty years as well as owning and operating Faye's Ceramics store in Rome. Faye attended the Rome Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She enjoyed making ceramics and crafts. Faye is preceded in death by her parents; two sons, James Davis and Jerry Davis; an infant granddaughter, Ashley Davis; a sister, Anna L. King and a brother, Covie L. Parsons. Survivors include four granddaughters, Crystal Davis, Heather Davis, Brittney Davis and Kaitlyn Davis as well as nieces and nephews. Private services will be held by the family with a burial in Rome Cemetery.
