Muriel "Beb" Myers

Muriel "Beb" Myers, age 89, of Kinsman,Ohio, died Monday, May 9, 2011, at her home. She was born April 9, 1922, in Rock Creek, Ohio, the fifth daughter of William R. and M. Ethel (Currie) Saulter. The family moved to Kinsman her senior year of high school and she met the love of her life, Allan "Pooch" Myers. They were married in Pensacola, Florida, on January 21,1944. Beb was a member of the Kinsman United Methodist Church; and enjoyed playing bridge, walking, and reading. She was employed for many years by Clifford A. Allen Insurance Agency and Gene Shaffer Insurance in Kinsman. Beb was a kind, caring and devoted mother to her two daughters, Pamela (Thomas) Nashtock of Cortland,OH,and Candice (Norman Buzz) Bell of Kinsman,OH, who will cherish her memory. Beb's grandchildren brought her much joy and happiness. They affectionately called her "Nanno". She shared many significant moments in their lives from sleepovers, vacations, and attending sporting events to births, baptisms, and weddings. She is survived by seven grandchildren, Monica (Scott) Mahon, Daphne (David) Salamon, Theresa (Brad) Roser, Stephen (Kelley) Harnett, Kerry (James) Homa, Kate (Jesse) Carvill, and Brett (Megan) Bell; and thirteen great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Sydney Mahon, Emma and Ethan Salamon, Lauren and Luke Roser, Zackery and Noah Harnett, Rylie and Reagan Homa, Avery and Anderson Carvill, and Teagan Bell. Beb is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Allan, on Sept. 1, 1987; her son-in-law, Donald D. Harnett; and four sisters, Virginia O'Hara, Georgia Clemson, Helen Brown, and Marilyn Gray. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2011, at 12 Noon at the Kinsman Cemetery Chapel, Church St., Kinsman,OH, with Rev. David McKinnon officiating.
