Myrtle G. Short

Andover, Ohio - Myrtle G. Short, 74, of Gate Street Apartments, Andover, Ohio, died April 11, 2006. A longtime area resident she was born on May 5, 1931 in Procious, West Virginia to Harry Dobbins Sr. and Leona P. (Shamblin) Dobbins. Mrs. Short was a homemaker who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading. Mrs. Short is preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Short, a sister Wanda Dobbins and two brothers Bub and William Dobbins. Survivors include two sons, George W. (Karen) Short of Pierpont, Rick L. (Betty) Short of Kinsman, a daughter Susanna R. (Roland) Braden of Williamsfield; grandson Ryan (Valerie) Short, Craig (Jamie) Braden; granddaughter Michelle Short; great grandsons Chase Braden, Caden Short; great granddaughters Victoria Braden, Delaney Short; six brothers, Arthur "Doc" Dobbins of Florida, Virgil Dobbins of Cleveland, Paul, Denny, Don and Harry Dobbins Jr. all of West Virginia; eight sisters, Margie Conway, Mary Shamblin, Francis Fitzwater, Allie Childers, Leona Barnhouse, Gloria Osborne, Dottie Orders and Alice Burdette, all of West Virginia.
