Nancy Lazenby, age 84, of Chardon, died December 23, 2011, at the Chardon Health Care Center. She was born April 26, 1927, in Wylam, Alabama, a daughter of Jonah F. and Katherine (Duff) Hall. A former long time Andover resident, Mrs. Lazenby had lived in Chardon since 2006. She was employed at Andover Hardware for several years; and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Andover. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star; and was a Mother Advisor for Rainbow Girls. Her hobbies included painting, crocheting, and sewing. Mrs. Lazenby married John R. "Jack" Lazenby, Sr. on May 21, 1947; and he died January 6, 2003. She is also preceded in death by her two sisters, Mary Pennfield and Katherine Tidwell; and one brother, Robert Barr. She is survived by a daughter, Debra E. (Anthony) Constantine of Mentor, Ohio; a son, John R. (Karen) Lazenby, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; 6 Grandchildren; and 4 Great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011, at 1:00 pm at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio.
