Nancy Lazenby

Nancy Lazenby, age 84, of Chardon, died December 23, 2011, at the Chardon Health Care Center. She was born April 26, 1927, in Wylam, Alabama, a daughter of Jonah F. and Katherine (Duff) Hall. A former long time Andover resident, Mrs. Lazenby had lived in Chardon since 2006. She was employed at Andover Hardware for several years; and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Andover. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star; and was a Mother Advisor for Rainbow Girls. Her hobbies included painting, crocheting, and sewing. Mrs. Lazenby married John R. "Jack" Lazenby, Sr. on May 21, 1947; and he died January 6, 2003. She is also preceded in death by her two sisters, Mary Pennfield and Katherine Tidwell; and one brother, Robert Barr. She is survived by a daughter, Debra E. (Anthony) Constantine of Mentor, Ohio; a son, John R. (Karen) Lazenby, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; 6 Grandchildren; and 4 Great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011, at 1:00 pm at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland,OH 44110.
