Nancy C. Spangler

Nancy C. Spangler, age 66, of Dorset,Ohio, died Monday, November 12, 2012, at the St. Joseph Emergency Center in Andover. She was born August 22, 1946, in Rome township,OH, a daughter of Charles and Violet M. (Colvin) Frazee. A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Spangler was employed as a machinist and in quality control at a plant in Conneaut. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and taking care of her animals. Mrs. Spangler is survived by her husband, Bruce R. Spangler, whom she married May 27, 1967, of Dorset; her daughter, Carmen (David) Kenney of Pataskala,OH; her son, Corey Spangler of Jefferson,OH; her sister, Sherry Burgoon of Jefferson,OH; her brother, Howard Frazee of Niceville, FL; several nieces and nephews; and her five grandchildren, Adelle, Gavin, Tessa, Carys, and Ian. She is preceded in death by her parents. A private interment of Mrs. Spangler's cremated remains will take place in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in North Kingsville,OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Rd., Kingsville, OH 44048.
