Patricia A. Bloss

Patricia A. Bloss, age 70, of Cortland, Ohio, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, OH. She was born April 30, 1940, in West Williamsfield,OH, a daughter of Richard J. and Elenor M. (Humphrey) Bloss. A former long time Kinsman resident, Patricia was a 1958 graduate of Kinsman High School. She attended Youngstown College following graduation. She was employed by Cortland Savings and Banking as an office worker for several years. She also worked for ten years for the television station, WFMJ. Patricia was past Worthy Advisor for Rainbow Girls; was active with 4-H and Girl Scouts; and served as president for the Youngstown-Warren Autism Society for nineteen years. She also was a founding member of the Red Hats Society in Kinsman. Her hobbies included quilting and cross stitching. She is preceded in death by her parents. Patricia is survived by her son, Richard K. "Ricky" Bloss of Boardman,OH; her aunt and uncle, Ruth and Jim Menock of Kinsman, OH; her aunt, Ann of Warren,OH; her aunt, Helen; her uncle, Joe Humphrey of Greenville, PA; cousin, David Menock, of Kinsman; many other cousins; and nieces, Heather Menock of Kinsman, and Dawn Croft of Farmdale. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH, with Rev. David McKinnon officiating. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 1 P.M. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kinsman United Methodist Church, P.O.
