Patricia G. Linn

PATRICIA G. LINN, age 65, of 1028 Lode Star Dr., Roaming Shores, Ohio 44085, died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at her home. She was born November 27, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Bernard A. Swope, Jr. and Lillian A. (Wagoner) Swope. A long time area resident, Mrs. Linn was employed as a cashier for Fisher Foods and successor companies from 1963 to 1993. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Thompson, Ohio, where she served as recording secretary and held other positions. She also was active in the Andover VFW Post #9519 Auxiliary, where she served as past president; and also was active in the District 7 VFW. Mrs. Linn loved her pet dogs, cats, birds, skunk; and she enjoyed gardening and canning. Mrs. Linn is survived by her husband, Thomas A. Linn, whom she married August 22, 1979; her son, Philip Berghauser of Brady Lake, OH; her two sisters, Susan Swope of Cleveland,OH, and Sandra Potenza of Mentor-on-the-Lake, OH; her daughter-in-law, Melissa (Berghauser) Cleavenger and her husband, Danny, of Freedom township, OH; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Scot Berghauser in 1995. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008, at 11:00 A.M. at the Grace Lutheran Church, Thompson, OH, with Pastor Ross Fees officiating. Burial of cremated remains will take place following the service in Hartsgrove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, 8091 Plank Rd., Thompson, OH 44086.
