Patricia Ann Wright

Akron, Ohio - Patricia Ann Wright, age 87, died on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Rockynol in Akron, Ohio. She was born on October 15, 1928, in Portland, Oregon a daughter of Hattye (Lauer) and Clyde Henry Fowler. A lifelong Portland resident, Mrs. Wright was a 1946 graduate of Cleveland High School in Portland. On June 4, 1948 she married Jack Lewis Wright. She was a member of the All Saints Episcopal Church of Portland. Mrs. Wright owned and operated a candy supply business and later janitorial supply business . When her children were young she was an active leader in both the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts. She loved to go on walks and doing crossword puzzles. Mrs. Wright is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack L. Wright and two daughters, Sue A. Bristow and Mary A. Wright. Survivors include a daughter Patricia Ann Wright of Portland, Oregon; a son, Daniel William Wright of Akron, Ohio; two grandsons, Shane and Jeremy and a great granddaughter. No public services will be held. Burial will be in Williamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
