Patrick Joseph Campbell

Patrick Joseph Campbell, age 38, of Hudson, OH, died Friday, June 6, 2008. He was born May 12, 1970, in Greenville, Pennsylvania, the son of Verne L. and Katherine Dianne (Thorp) Campbell. A former resident of Kinsman,OH, Patrick was a 1988 Joseph Badger High School graduate. He then graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI, with a degree in culinary arts. Patrick began his work as a chef at Pesto's Cafe in Warren. He then was a long time employee of Alberini's; and went on to work for Timberlane's of Salem. Most recently, Patrick was employed by the Hilton Garden Inn in Twinsburg. He attended the York Avenue Church of God in Warren; and Patrick participated in the "Tastes of the Valley" over the years in Trumbull, Mahoning, and Columbiana counties. He enjoyed cycling and competed in several races; loved cooking; and enjoyed his friends and family. Patrick is survived by his three children, LeAnna Campbell and P.J. Campbell, of Youngstown, OH, and Alexandria Campbell, of Vernon, OH; his parents, Verne and Dianne Campbell, of Kinsman; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Patrick H. and Arylene Campbell; and his maternal grandparents, Joseph Leon and Frances Thorp. There will be no calling hours or services held. Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, Ohio, handled arrangements. Once again your love and prayers sustain us during this time in the loss of our son. You have always been with us during many past difficult times. We ask that you hug and love each other, your families, and your children for us, and know that we treasure these times together.
