Paul F. Lane

Paul F. Lane Sr., age 65, of Geneva, Ohio, died Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at UHHS Brown Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 22, 1940, in Jefferson, Ohio to Robert A. and Katherine F. (DiBell) Lane. Mr. Lane was a dairy and crop farmer. He married Sylvia J. "Penny" Heath on April 3, 1976. Mr. Lane formerly attended the Leon United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering with small engines and collecting antique fishing gear. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a son Paul F. Lane Jr and an older brother Ronald Lane Sr. He is survived by his wife Sylvia of Geneva, Ohio, a daughter, Diana L. Burns, of Dallas, Texas, sons, Robert A. Lane Sr. of Geneva, Ohio and Charles G. Lane of Hadley, Penn, step daughter, Teresa J. Offutt of Andover, Ohio, step son Russ M. Barnes of Mesa, Ariz, seven sisters, Janis Offutt of New Lyme, Ohio, Ruth Martin of Dorset, Ohio, Roberta Burdick and Barbara White both of Andover, Ohio, Carol Snyder and Dolores Jones of Pierpont, Ohio, Kathy Schmid of Raleigh, NC, two brothers David Lane of Andover, Ohio and Alan Lane of Conneaut Lake, Penn and 19 grandchildren.
