Paula L. Shreves

Paula L. (Ridenour) Shreves, age 42, of Andover,OH, passed away Saturday, November 12,2011, at her home. She was born May 30, 1969, in Ashtabula, Ohio, a daughter of Leroy P. Ridenour and Deborah L. (King) Ridenour. A resident of Andover since 1993, Paula was a 1987 graduate of Ashtabula High School. She graduated in 2005 from the A.C.J.V.S. Knoedler School of Practical Nursing; and was employed at Eagle Pointe Nursing Home in Orwell as an L.P.N. Her hobbies included camping, playing Bingo, swimming, and playing poker. Paula was a fun loving, carefree wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her three granddaughters. Paula is survived by her husband, Shawn L. Shreves, whom she married July 29, 1995, of Andover; two daughters, Laurel N. (Craig Conley) Ridenour of Pierpont, OH, and Janelle J. Swann of Jefferson,OH; two sons, Shawn L. Shreves, Jr. and Colten D. Shreves, both of Andover; three granddaughters, MaHalie J. Pavlisin, Alexis M. Conley, and Amyah S. Ridenour, all of Pierpont; her mother, Debbie L. Ridenour of Ashtabula,OH; her father, Leroy P. Ridenour of Dorset, OH; three brothers, Ed (Kelly Baker) Ridenour of Ashtabula,OH, Bruce (Bonnie) Ridenour of West Springfield, PA, and Ken (Tina Hutzell) Ridenour of Geneva,OH; mother and father-in-law, Nancy (Carl) Gill of Andover; and father-in-law, Bob Shreves of Andover. She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Bill and Joyce Murkens; and paternal grandparents, Victor and Harriet Ridenour. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011, at 12:30 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH. Calling hours will be Thursday from 10:30 AM until the time of services. A private burial of cremated remains will take place in Cherry Valley Cemetery at a later date.
