Pauline H. Dunbar

Warren, Ohio - Pauline H. Dunbar, age 89, died on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at St. Joseph Health Care Center in Warren, Ohio. She was born on July 16, 1921 in Gustavus, Ohio, the daughter of Elma (Wortman) and Herbert Clisby. She was a 1939 graduate of Gustavus High School. Mrs. Dunbar was a clerk for Suburban Water of Warren, Ohio; she then worked in the cafeteria at Copperweld Steel and was a representative for Amway for several years. She was a member of the Champion Presbyterian Church, of the Eagles Club in Warren, Ohio, as well as the SCOPE in Warren and was a member of the Young Democrats Club. Mrs. Dunbar enjoyed playing bingo, sewing and doing crafts. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Frances Hoffman; and three brothers, Albert, Duane and Harry Clisby. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra (Samuel) DeCapito of Champion, Ohio and Dixie (David) Bailes of Gustavus, Ohio; two sons, Paul (Patricia) Dunbar of Brighton, Michigan and Denis Dunbar of Champion, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Hisae Clisby of Bristolville, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Kinsman Cemetery, Church Street, Kinsman, Ohio on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 2:00pm.
