New Lyme, Ohio - Pearl M. Giddings, 91,of New Lyme, Ohio, died on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on February 15,1915 in Warren, Ohio to Harry and Wilhelmina (Sytella) Eiloo. Formerly of Richmond township, Mrs. Giddings was a resident of New Lyme since 1935. She married Dean W. Giddings on October 28, 1935 and together they owned and operated a dairy farm. Mrs. Giddings was a member of the Jefferson Grange. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, cooking, baking and bird watching. Mrs. Giddings is preceded in death by her parents, husband of sixty years who died on June 2, 1996; three sisters Sylvia Wentz, Martha Howells, Esther Brawley; brother Martin Eiloo; Half sisters Mary Martilla, Sarah Gordon, and half brothers John, Matt, and Frank Eiloo. Survivors include daughters Carol A. (Fred) Kennedy of Ravenna, Linda K. (Ray) Goodge of Roaming Shores and Deanna L. (David Kuhns) Giddings of New Lyme, a brother Edward (Rosemary) Eiloo of Parma, Ohio; seven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 16, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio with Pastor Mark Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Lenox Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
