Phyllis A. Hoffstetter

Kinsman, Ohio - Phyllis A. Hoffstetter, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 23, 2009. She was born on May 13, 1933, in Greene, Ohio, a daughter of Marion (Gibbs) and Richard P. Raymond. A 1951 graduate of Greene High School, Mrs. Hoffstetter moved to Kinsman in 1976. She was a substitute mail carrier for Kinsman and North Bloomfield for over thirteen years. Mrs. Hoffstetter attended the former Greene Community Church. She was a 4-H advisor in Greene for many years and enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and gardening. Mrs. Hoffstetter is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include two daughters, Renee D. Hoffstetter of Kinsman, Ohio and Rhonda K. (Charlie) Parker of Cortland, Ohio; two sons, Randy K. (Linda) Hoffstetter of Cortland, Ohio and Ryon L. (Nancy) Hoffstetter of Kinsman, Ohio; two sisters, LaVerne I. (Alvin) Easton of Wilmington, North Carolina and Della M. (Russell) Eltringham of Colebrook, Ohio; two brothers, Glenn R. (May) Raymond of Kinsman, Ohio and Gary A. Raymond of Ashtabula, Ohio; four grandchildren, Brent, Heidi, Autumn and Amber; and two great grandsons, Braeden and Mason. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2009 at 7:00pm at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4:00pm until the time of services. Private burial will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery.
