Raymond M. Chilkowski,

RAYMOND M. CHILKOWSKI, SR., age 91, a long time Williamsfield, Ohio, resident, died Monday, September 11, 2006, at Adams County Hospital in West Union, Ohio. He was born August 31, 1915, in Cleveland,OH, to Paul Adam Chilkowski and Sophia (Jakubowski) Chilkowski. Mr. Chilkowski was employed as a roofer for Bodwell Lemon Roofing in Cleveland, Ohio, for many years, and was a veteran of W.W. II having served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Chilkowski enjoyed square dancing, reading, and farming. He married Esther (Fraundorf) on June 8, 1940, and she preceded him in death in 1998. Also preceding him in death is his brother, Paul Chilkowski. He is survived by a son, Raymond (Martha) Chilkowski, Jr., of North Royalton, OH; his daughter, Donna L. (Denis J.) Slawinski of Strongsville, OH; grandson, Chris A. Chilkowski; and granddaughter, Amy (Joshua) Bowling. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH, with Rev. Gretchen Wagner officiating.
