Raymond C. "YoYo" Mosser, 76 years old, of Williamsfield, Ohio, died on Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at Austinburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Mosser was born on July 28, 1927, in Wick, WV, to the late Harley Mosser and the late Hatti (McCune) Fletcher Mosser. Formerly of Windsor, OH, Mr. Mosser was a Williamsfield resident since 1962. He was a crain operator for New York Central Railroad for 19 years. From 1965 to 1970, he owned and operated Mosser's Boat Landing at Pymatuning Lake. He also owned Mosser's Coal & Trucking; and from 1980 to the present, he owned and operated Mosser's Boat Storage and Canvas Shop. Mr. Mosser was the 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor at the Ashtabula Joint Vocational School for almost 20 years. He served in the United States Army at the end of World War II. He was instrumental in starting the little league and pony league in Windsor. He enjoyed fishing, playing hearts & pinacle, pool, checkers, and also loved cats, dogs, and feeding the wild birds. Mr. Mosser married Elsie A. Houghton on October 11, 1947. She died on July 27, 2002. Along with his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents, and a grandchild, Matthew Salrin. He is survived by his sons, Leonard (Neva) Salrin of Newbury, OH; and Ray (Joyce) Mosser of Jefferson, OH; his daughter, Rose Marie (Bob) Stemler of Howard, PA; his grandchildren, Tammy, Donna, Angela, Chief, and Jason; his great grandchildren, Harleigh, Clinton, and Tyler; his stepbrothers, Cliff Baker of Warren, OH; and Leroy Baker of Greenville, PA. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 7, 2004, at 11:00a.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio, with the Reverend Jeffrey W. Stoll officiating. Burial will follow in Williamsfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2004, from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. at the funeral home.
