Andover, Ohio - Raymond R. Idock, 78, of Holiday Camplands, Andover, Ohio, died on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at his residence. Formerly of the West side of Cleveland and Rocky River, Ohio, Mr. Idock was born on May 20, 1927 in Cleveland to Joseph R. and Mary (Vraja) Idock. A resident of Holiday camplands since 1986, Mr. Idock has been coming to the Andover area since 1971. Mr. Idock served in the United States Army during World War II. He was the head auto mechanic for Hertz rental car of Cleveland for 30 years. For fifteen years Mr. Idock owned and operated a beverage store in Rocky River and most recently he managed the family's Precious Treasures craft and antique store on the square in Andover for over ten years. Mr. Idock attended the Nazarene Church of Ashtabula. He was a member of the F & A Masons in Cleveland, and enjoyed woodworking. Mr. Idock married Sandra J. (Cahill) Barker on May 27, 1995. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Virginia L. Johnston. Survivors include his wife Sandra J. Idock of Andover, a daughter, Susan Lynne (Michael) Herrold of Brookpark, Ohio; four stepdaughters, Linda D. (Russell) Cartner of North Kingsville, Diane L. (Robert) Wilt of Ashtabula, Ruth A. (Steven) Keep of Dorset, Kathryn F. (Scott) McMannes of Phoenix, Arizona; two stepsons, Daniel L. (Eileen) Barker of Geneva, John-Mark L. Barker of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Vivian Orsino of Galliton, Tennessee, Audrey Davis of Noble, Indiana; 13 grandchildren, Jenna, Amanda, Taylor, Mallorie, Victoria, Kenneth, Kevin, Jonathan, Bill, Tim, Tommy, Jon, Geary and a great grandson on the way Tyler James Cartner. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at 12:00 Noon at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio.
