Sioux Falls, South Dakota - Reba L. Moschell, age 85, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2008. Formerly of Jefferson, Ohio, Reba, the daughter of James and Irene (Dietz) Carr, was born July 13, 1923 in Leon, Ohio. She was a 1941 graduate of New Lyme High School. She married Robert H. Moschell on May 29, 1946 and the two of them moved to Jefferson where they raised their three daughters, Marcy, Wendy, and Linda. Reba was an active member of First Congregational Church in Jefferson. She worked for several years at Marie's Dress Shop in Jefferson. Following her husband's death in 1995, Reba moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1997 to be close to her grandchildren. She was a devoted grandmother and enjoyed her five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Grateful for having shared her life are her three daughters; Marcy (Don) Brown of Danville, Kentucky, Wendy (Joe) Leggett of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Linda Moschell of Seattle, Washington; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles (Bonnie) Carr; and a sister, Betty (Carr) Brininger, both of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moschell; brother, Garland Carr and infant brother, Cecil Carr; and a sister, Marie Foster Harner. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cherry Valley Cemetery in Cherry Valley, Ohio. Baumgardner Funeral Home, Andover, Ohio, handled the arrangements.
