Richard Beryle Burford, age 78, of Jamestown, PA, died Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, PA. He was born June 1, 1928, in Farmdale,OH, to George F. and Edna A. (Crooks) Burford. Formerly of Kinsman, Mr. Burford was a long time Jamestown resident. He was employed by the R. D. Werner Co. in Greenville, PA, as a die repairman for many years, retiring in 1990. Mr. Burford was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Harry Lees Post #506 American Legion, Kinsman and the VFW; and his hobbies included horse racing and golfing. Mr. Burford is survived by his son, Mark B. (Pat) Burford of Jamestown, PA; step-son, Thomas (Laurie) Faulconbridge of Jeannette, PA; two grandchildren, Kelly and Chris Burford; two step grandchildren, Joey Faulconbridge and Amy Faulconbridge; and his ex-wife, Mona Runyon of Jamestown, PA. He is preceded in death by his parents; six sisters, Martha Burford, Sara Cassidy, Margaret Quinn, Virginia Eickleberry, Edna DiDay, and Lillian Rutter; and three brothers, William F. Burford, John "Ben" Burford, and Arthur Burford. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Kinsman Cemetery chapel, Church St., Kinsman,OH. There will be no calling hours held. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N.
