Andover, Ohio - Richard E. DiBell, age 74, died on Monday, September 24, 2007, following an extended illness. He was born on June 6, 1933 in Gustavus, Ohio, the son of Paul and Ethel (Goff) DiBell. "Dick" was a 1951 graduate of Jefferson High School. He married Letha A. Cochran on January 10, 1953. "Dick" was an over the road truck driver for several companies and retired in 1991. He was formerly a member of the Cherry Valley Church of the Nazarene, and enjoyed fishing, camping, and playing baseball. "Dick" is preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother and sister; eight brothers, twins, Edwin and Elwin, Floyd, Robert, Paul, Neil, and Kenneth DiBell; and two sisters Kathrine Lane and Shirley Simon. He is survived by his wife of fifty four years, Letha A. DiBell of Andover, Ohio; a daughter, Cheryl A. (Randy) Schulz of Ripley, Tennessee; five sons, Richard P. (Janice) DiBell of Ripley, Tennessee, Wayne H. DiBell of Andover, Ohio, Timothy L. DiBell of Conneaut, Ohio, Daniel F. (Stacy) DiBell of Howland, Ohio and Joseph N. (DeAnna) DiBell of Andover, Ohio; two sisters, Arlene Vlock an Mildred Dresnek both of Williamsfield, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren, Shawn, Angel, Jamie, Richard, Heather, Keith, Cory, Clinton, Brandon, Zachary, Eric, Alex, Gerald and Jennifer; and ten great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 28, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio with Pastor Buck Traylor officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 27th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
