Richard L. Orahood

Richard L. Orahood, 72 years old, of Andover, Ohio, died on Saturday, May 7, 2005, in St. Joseph Medical Center in Andover, Ohio. Mr. Orahood was born on May 14, 1932, in Marysville, OH, to the late Charles L. Orahood and the late Doris L. (Collinson) Orahood. A long time Andover resident, Mr. Orahood moved there after his graduation from Marysville High School in 1950. He was Superintendent of Finishing at Andover Industries for over 39 years. He married Marian (Miller) on September 29, 1951. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Marian B. Orahood of Andover, OH; his four sons, Richard K. Orahood of Andover, OH; Terry L. Orahood of Andover, OH; Mark S. Orahood of Cortland, OH; and Stephen B. Orahood of Greenville, PA; his brother, Ronald E. Orahood of Andover, OH; and sister, Shirley K. Kotnick of Roaming Shores, OH; and ten grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at 1:00p.m. at the Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover. Cremation to follow services. No calling hours will be held.
