Richard M. "Rick" Leonhard

Warren, Ohio - Richard M. "Rick" Leonhard II, age 45, died on November 12, 2006 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation after fighting cancer over the past year. Rick was born on September 25,1961 in Sharon, Pennsylvania to Richard M. and Phyllis J. (Pelles) Leonhard. He was a 1979 graduate of Joseph Badger High School and graduated from Youngstown State University. Rick worked in production for Delphi Packard for over twelve years. He was a member of the Believers Christian Fellowship of Warren, the National Honors Society and the Kinsman Cup Fantasy Football League. Rick was active in sports both in playing many sports and a fan of many sports. He enjoyed reading, traveling and was a movie buff. Rick is preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his wife Susan R. Burick, of Warren,whom he married on September 11, 2004; his parents of Kinsman; two brothers, Gregory B. (Rose) Leonhard of Kinsman, "Huff" S. (Kelly) Leonhard of Crane, Indiana; a sister Lisa D. (Matthew) Masto of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and twelve nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Rock of Grace Church, State Route 5, Kinsman, Ohio with Rev. William H. Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2006 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the church.
