Richard P. Turos

Elyria, Ohio Richard P. Turos, age 57, of Elyria, Ohio died Sunday, December 24, 2006 at his home. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 31, 1949 to Robert George Turos, Sr. and Barbara Julia (Sass) Turos. Mr. Turos was a 1968 graduate of Fairview High School. He was employed for many years in the maintenance area including Union Carbide, Nissan Moators, the State of Ohio and other places. Mr. Turos was a Viet Nam veteran having served in the United States Army. Mr. Turos was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his beloved son, Christopher P. Turos of Andover, Ohio; two brothers, Robert G. Turos, Jr. of Hinckley, Ohio and Russell K. Turos of Galloway, Ohio. A memorial and committal service will be held on Monday, January 8, 2007 at 1:30 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, Ohio.
