Richard W. Wakeman

Andover, Ohio - Richard Ware Wakeman, age 86, died at his home on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. He was born on September 18, 1926, in Ashtabula, Ohio, a son of Bernice and Norris Wakeman. Mr. Wakeman served in the United States Army during World War II. He painted houses and also built and refurbished homes. Mr. Wakeman loved working with wood building clocks, boats and many other things and enjoyed fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Brian W. Wakeman; a sister, Lucille Avery and a brother, Jerry Wakeman. Survivors include his son, Keith A. Wakeman of Andover, Ohio and a grandson, Ryan Wakeman of Monroe, Georgia. Private services will be held a the convenience of the family.
