Robert Ellsworth Blaniar

Andover, Ohio â�" Robert E. Blaniar, age 68, died on Tuesday, December 25, 2007. Formerly of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, Mr. Blaniar was a resident of Jamestown, Pennsylvania, and Andover, Ohio for the past fourteen years. He was born on January 6, 1939, in Ford City, Pennsylvania, to Andrew J. and Grace LuLu (Greenfield) Blaniar. He was employed with J & J Wood Products of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, for over thirty years. He married Alberta M. Miller on August 19, 1963. He was a twenty year member of the Kensington AERIE Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 533 and a ten year member of the Andover AERIE Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 4035. Mr. Blaniar was also a member of the Pymatuning Sportsmanâ�™s Club of Linesville, Pennsylvania, and the Jamestown Firemanâ�™s Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and camping. He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Belinda G. Blaniar. Survivors include his wife Alberta M. Blaniar of Jamestown, Pennsylvania, three daughters, Robin L. (Robert) Antonoka of Natrona, Pennsylvania, Sandra J. Strack of Espyville, Pennsylvania, and Laurie L. Lardin of California; two sons, Albert D. Duncan of New Kensington, Pennsylvania and Richard A. Duncan of Brackenridge, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Andrew Blaniar of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Edward Blaniar of Kinlock, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Jean Marie Chinchar of Cheswick, Pennsylvania and Barbara J. Simpson of Traders Path Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania; fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at The Beachcomber, 5591 Lake Road, Andover, Ohio 44003. Arrangements handled by Baumgardner Funeral Home, Andover, Ohio.
