ROBERT C. HALE, age 57, of Ashtabula, Ohio, died Sunday, December 2, 2007, at the Brecksville VA Hospital. He was born July 29, 1950, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Reed G. Hale and Gene (Stillman) Hale Bradley. Robert served in the U.S. Army and was a disabled Vietnam veteran who was dedicated to helping homeless and disabled veterans; and he enjoyed writing. Robert is survived by his son, Robert Loving, and his fiancee, Jamie, of Akron, OH; his mother, Gene Bradley, of Andover; three sisters, Sandra (Terry) Lawver, of Ashtabula, Penny Hale, and her fiancee, Kurt, of Kentucky, and Barbara (Max) King, of Arizona; four brothers, Larry Hale, of California, Donald Hale, of Florida, Jerry (Debbie) Hale, of Andover, and Rick (Vicky) Hale, of Geneva, OH; one granddaughter, Natalie Loving, of Akron, and two grandsons, Chris and Andrew, of Akron; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, James Hale; maternal grandparents, Lois (Fenkell) Phillips and Kline L. Stillman; and paternal grandparents, Harry and Jennie Hale. At Robert's request, he will be cremated and no calling hours or services will be observed. Burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery, North Kingsville, OH.
