Rosa L. Walker, age 72, of Kinsman, Ohio, died Sunday, January 27, 2008, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio. She was born July 24, 1935, in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of Floyd Raymond Bryan and Goldie Leona (Miller) Bryan. A resident of Kinsman for the past four years, Mrs. Walker was formerly of Zanesville. She was employed by Brockway Glass and Essex Wire in Zanesville. She was a member of the Hits & Misses bowling league in Cortland, Ohio; enjoyed playing cards and Yahtzee, knitting, crafts, collecting salt and pepper shakers, and was a great cook. Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband of 49 years, James Franklin Walker, whom she married September 20, 1958, of Kinsman; her three sons, John R. (Danielle) Walker of Newton Falls, OH, Jerry L. (Heidi) Walker of Montoursville, PA, and James Doke (Helen) Walker of Diamondhead, Mississippi; three sisters, Kay Layton, Linda Bennett, and Patricia Bryan, two brothers, Joseph Bryan and Gary Bryan, all of Zanesville, OH; eleven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Mark Walker; four brothers, Donald, James, Clarence and Fred Bryan; and her parents. She was loved by all and will be sadly missed. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna, OH. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 31st from 2 to 6 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad St. St. Rt. 46, Canfield,OH 44406.
