Rose C. Bell, age 81, of Cherry Valley Township,OH, died Friday, May 28, 2010, at her home. She was born June 6, 1928, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Ivan C. and Ruth (Keffer) Tinsley. Mrs. Bell graduated from the Gauley Bridge High School in West Virginia and went on to attend the Charleston School of Commerce in Charleston, WV. She was employed for several years by Atlantic Greyhound in Charleston. Mrs. Bell and her husband moved to Cherry Valley in 1955. She was former president of the Ashtabula County Pork Producers; and was an avid flower and vegetable gardener. She enjoyed cooking and was a talented seamstress. She made many of her children's clothes and show outfits for her entire family. Mrs. Bell is survived by her husband, William L. Bell, Sr., whom she married March 26, 1950; her son, John C. Bell of Andover, OH, daughter, Nina Bell-Mariana and her fiance, Larry Fetters, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, daughter, Merry (David) Bell-Bowman of Leavenworth, KS, daughter, Patricia (John) Bell-Kellar of Poconos, PA; seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, William L. Bell, Jr. Private services will be held for the family.
