R.Owen Parobek

R. Owen Parobek, Jr., age 23, of Kinsman, Ohio, died Sunday, August 28, 2011. He was born September 6, 1987, in Warren, Ohio, a son of Lori A. Stringfellow and Ronald O. Parobek. Owen was a 2006 graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School in Andover; and worked on his family's farm in Wayne, Ohio. Owen attended the First Congregational Church of Wayne. He was an avid outdoorsman loving to fish and hunt; and he enjoyed being with his family. Owen is survived by his mother, Lori A. Stringfellow of Wayne township, OH; his father, Ronald O. Parobek of Mentor, OH; his fiance, Tara Day of Kinsman, OH; a brother, Erin Parobek, currently serving in Afghanistan; his sister, Aubrey Hane of Wayne; his brother, Mason Hane of Wayne; maternal grandparents, Irene and Bill Martin of Andover, OH, and Fred and Libby Stringfellow of New Lyme township, OH; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Alba Parobek. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 from 5 to 8 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,Ohio. A memorial service will be Saturday, September 3, 2011, at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 7998 St. Rt. 7, Williamsfield,OH, with Pastors Bob and Lori Coleman officiating. Private burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date in Dodgeville Cemetery, New Lyme township, OH.
