ROY F. "RUFUS" RUHLMAN, age 74, of Kinsman, Ohio, died Friday, June 2, 2006, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, Ohio. He was born March 22, 1932, in Greenville, Pennsylvania, to Amos L. and Delphi (Collins) Ruhlman. A long time Kinsman resident, Mr. Ruhlman was employed as a truck driver for Denmans, Inc., for 38 years, retiring in 1992. He also was employed by Greenwood Automotive in Cortland as a driver. Mr. Ruhlman was a member of the Moose Club for eight years and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and he liked motorcycles. He also was a NASCAR racing fan and a Cleveland Browns fan. Mr. Ruhlman married Edith M. (Huffman) on Feb. 28, 1949, and she preceded him in death on March 22, 2000. Also preceding him in death are his parents; grandson, Michael Ruhlman; and sister, Stella Locke. He is survived by his three sons, Ronald A. Ruhlman, Sr. of Kinsman, OH, Robert L. Ruhlman, Sr., of Champion, OH, and Ralph E. Ruhlman of Kinsman, OH; his great granddaughter, Misty Ruhlman of Middlefield,OH; 7 grandsons, Robert Ruhlman, Jr., Roy Ruhlman, Ron Ruhlman, Jr., Shawn Patrick Ruhlman, Christopher Smith, Joshua Smith, and Ricky Ruhlman; and 4 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at 8:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH, with Pastor Kent Bell officiating. A private graveside service will be held in Kinsman Cemetery for burial of cremated remains. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
