Russell Norman Boyce

Andover, Ohio - Russell Norman Boyce, age 72, died on Friday, April 11, 2014, in Warren, Ohio. He was born on July 21, 1941 in Sebring, Ohio, a son of Iona Lenore (Springer) and John Russell Boyce. A 1958 graduate of Minerva High School. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Russell enjoyed fishing, playing cards and he loved animals. He is preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Iona Boyce of Canton, Ohio; four sisters, Janice L. (Wess) Brown-Day of Bergholz, Ohio, Jacqueline L. Brownsword of Minerva, Ohio, Linda K. (David) Medley of Canton, Ohio, and Judy A. (Jeffery) Mitzel of Carrollton, Ohio; and three brothers, James L. (Sharon) Boyce of Alliance, Ohio, Timothy S. (Tammy) Boyce of Minerva, Ohio and David J. Boyce of Buckeye Lake, Ohio. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Marlboro Cemetery in Marlboro, Ohio, with military honors.
