Russell E. Farmer, age 51, of Cherry Valley township, OH, died Friday, October 28, 2016, at MetroHealth in Cleveland,OH. He was born December 20, 1964, in Ashtabula, OH, a son of Donald R. Farmer, Sr. and Janet L. (Cobb) Farmer. A lifelong area resident, Russell attended Edgewood High School. He was formerly employed at the Orwell Mattress Co.; and his hobbies included hunting. He is survived by his parents, Donald R. and Janet L. Farmer, Sr., of Cherry Valley township, OH; his brother, Donald R. (Juanita) Farmer, Jr. of Andover, OH; his sister, Juanita Klemencic of North Ridgeville, OH; his sister, Gwen (David) Glause of Roaming Shores, OH; his brother, Roby (Tracie) Farmer of Orma, WV; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Violet Layne; and his paternal grandparents, Earl and Gladys Farmer. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH. Cremation will follow.
