Ruth M. Andrego

Jefferson, Ohio - Ruth Marie Andrego, age 82, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2015 in Saybrook. She was born on March 8, 1933 in Andover, a daughter of Pauline (Johnson) and Arvo Arnio. Ruth was a 1951 graduate of New Lyme Deming High School. On January 12, 1952 she married James Andrego. She worked for the Ashtabula Star Beacon, Reliance Electric of Ashtabula, General Electric of Jefferson and the Andover Bank, retiring in 1980. Ruth was a member of the Cherry Valley Mothers Club. She enjoyed social outings with her friends and family gatherings. Her favorite hobby was painting ceramics with her friends. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty-three years, James whom passed away on June 19, 2015 and two brothers, Gordon Arnio, George Arnio and brother-in-law Julius Ragalyi. Survivors include three daughters, Lynne M. (Lembit) Napp of Conneaut, Randi L. (Stanley) Cosper of Jefferson and Marianne Lisa (David) Wooten of Mentor; a son James A. Andrego of Geneva; a granddaughter, Krista Napp of Santa Monica, California; two sisters, Lois Ragalyi of Vernon and Linda (James) Foos of Cortland; two brothers, Arvo (Irene) Arnio of Sun City Center, Florida and Elmer (Dora) Arnio of Grafton, West Virginia and sister-in-law, Carol Arnio of Cortland any many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 11:00 am at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Ashtabula. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 15th from 10 am until the time of services.
