Ruth E. Gracyk

Ruth E. Gracyk, age 89, of Gustavus township, Ohio, died Friday, June 5, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown,OH. She was born May 12, 1926, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of Clarence M. and Geraldine J. (Groff) Post. A lifetime Gustavus resident, Mrs. Gracyk retired from General Electric in Warren after many years of employment. She attended the Greene Church of the Nazarene. She loved going to rummage sales with her sister, Ernestine; and she loved the outdoors. Mrs. Gracyk married Edwin J. Gracyk on May 6, 1950; and he died August 14, 2006. She is also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Clarence Post; and one sister, Geraldine Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Jim) Leopardi of Hudson,OH; her son, Edwin (Mary) Gracyk of Gustavus township,OH; her three grandsons, Jimmy and Johnny Leopardi, and Josh (Kim) Gracyk; her great granddaughter, Rayna; two brothers, James (Doraleen) Post of Gustavus township, OH, and Richard (Marsha) Post of Brookfield,OH; and her sister, Ernestine Plant of Kinsman,OH. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St.,Kinsman,OH, with Pastor Jim Elkin officiating.
