Ruth A. Konz

Ruth A. Konz, age 77, of Andover, Ohio, died Thursday, March 10, 2005 at her residence. She was born May 30, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Dennis and Elizabeth (Petrie) Crowley. Mrs. Konz has lived in Andover since 1989 and was formerly of Cleveland. She was a 1948 graduate of St. John's Hospital School of Nursing in Ann Arbor,Michigan; and was employed by Brentwood Hospital in Warrensville, Ohio, for 13 years as a nurse, retiring in 1987. Mrs. Konz was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Andover; and her hobbies included crafts, reading, and collecting angels and hummels. Mrs. Konz was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Konz, in 1971; her parents; two brothers, David and Frank Crowley; and a sister, Mary Jane Crowley. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Holecek, of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be on Monday, March 14, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover,Ohio, with Rev. David Misbrener officiating.
