Ruth M. McMichael

Andover, Ohio - Ruth M. McMichael, age 83, died on Monday, December 15, 2008, in Greenville, Pennsylvania. She was born on June 9, 1925, the daughter of the late Todd and Nelma (Nyland) Eaken. Mrs. McMichael was employed at the former Target Stamped Products of Kinsman, Ohio for over thirteen years. On November 1, 1953 she married Donald "Jim" McMichael. He died in 1995. She was a member of the Andover Mardi Club and was an avid reader. Preceding her in death is her daughter, Bonnie Wolfe, along with her husband of forty-one years, and her parents. Survivors include two daughters, Gladys M. Heath of Andover, OH, and Deborah J. Smegal of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Barbara (Bob) Pykare and Greta (Lanny) Tricker both of Gustavus, Ohio; ten grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. Mrs. McMichael was a resident at St. Paul Homes in Greenville for the past three years, and the family would like to extend their thanks for their wonderful loving care. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio with Pastor Mark L. Biel officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Andover, Ohio. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
