Ruth B. Valinskie

Ruth B. Valinskie, age 99, of Andover, OH, died Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Andover Village Retirement Community. She was born August 17, 1914, in Jacksonville, NC, a daughter of Walter and Pauline (Lomare) Wharton. Formerly of Williamsfield and Wickliff, Mrs. Valinskie was employed by the GE Lamp Division in Cleveland for eight years. She also formerly owned a restaurant in Miami for several years. Mrs. Valinskie married Albert S. Valinskie on August 17, 1950; and he preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1994. Also preceding her are three sisters, Hilda Barr, Evelyn Reighard, and Marie Lane; and two brothers, Wallace and Robert Wharton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 103 N. Maple St., Orwell, OH, with Father John P. Madden officiating. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery.
