Ruthe Ann Varvir

Warren, Ohio - Ruthe Ann Varvir, age 83, died on Thursday, February 19, 2015. She was born on May 22, 1931 in Bolindale, Ohio a daughter of Marquerite (Jadwin) and Percy Plant. A longtime Andover resident, Mrs. Varvir was a resident of Warren, Ohio for the past few years. She was a caregiver for many years, caring for the elderly. In 1972 she married, Joseph Varvir. She attended the Farmdale Church for many years and was a member of the Glenn Christian Foundation Church of Warren, Ohio. Mrs. Varvir enjoyed traveling and collecting various number of things. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph; a daughter, Karen Harden; two sons, Emel and Robert Kish and five brothers, Clement, Charles, Donald, Dale and Paul Plant. Survivors include her granddaughter that she helped raised, April L. Levine; four daughters, Marquerite, Lydia, Cindy and Ruth; three sons, Steven, David and Jeff; a sister, Diane; two brothers, Vernon and Carl and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 10:00am at Brownwood Cemetery in North Bloomfield, Ohio.
