Sally J. Clute

Kinsman, Ohio - Sally J. Clute, age 75, died on July 8, 2009. She was born on February 9, 1934, in Mercer, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Esther M. (Grace) and Harry R. Lean Sr. A 1952 graduate of Greenville High School; Mrs. Clute was a Kinsman resident since 1967. On August 24, 1957, she married Donald Henry Clute Sr. Mrs. Clute was giving of her time and volunteered for the local Easter Seals, and was very active and formerly the president and secretary/treasurer of the Kinsman Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary where she is a life member and was also involved in the State of Ohio Firefighters Auxiliary where she served as president. She enjoyed playing bingo, attending yard sales, and doing crossword puzzles. Mrs. Clute is preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Ruth (Folk) Lean; a sister, Margaret Brower and a brother, Clyde "Bottle" Lean. Survivors include her husband of fifty-one years Donald H. Clute, Sr. of Kinsman, Ohio; a daughter, Lynn R. Clute of Kinsman, Ohio; two sons, Donald H. Clute, Jr. of Kinsman, Ohio and Bruce A. Clute of West Hollywood, California; four granddaughters, Christine M. Stahl of Kinsman, Ohio, PFC Bonnee I. Clute Okinawa, Japan, United States Marine Corp., Jillee A. Clute and Anngee D. Clute both of Kinsman, Ohio and a brother, Harry R. (Dorothy) Lean, Jr. of Greenville, Pennsylvania. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 11:00am at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio, with Rev. David McKinnon officiating.
