Sandra S. Giddings

Sandra S. Giddings, age 61, of Wayne Township, OH, died Monday, August 2, 2010, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord,OH. She was born March 20, 1949, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of James Wilcox Sr. and Elsie (Racey) Wilcox. A lifetime Wayne township resident, Mrs. Giddings was employed as a nurse's aid by Heather Hill Nursing Home in Chardon,Ohio for many years. In her younger years, she was a Cub Scout leader ; and she enjoyed decorating, crocheting, reading, lawn work, and talking with her friends. She was a very protective mother of her children. Mrs. Giddings is survived by her husband of 26 years, Arl L. Giddings, of Wayne township; her son, Bill (Traci) Fraback of Wayne; her two daughters, Regina (John) Consla and Jennifer (Jeffrey) Patrick, both of Wayne; her father, James Wilcox, Sr.; her eight grandchildren, David Brainard, Kayla Consla, Kimberlee Consla, Kelsey Fraback, Kamryn Fraback, Jacob Patrick, Jackson Patrick, and Gaubrielle Patrick; two great grandchildren, Damon Brainard and Lucas Fassett; her sister, Shirley Garvey of Wayne; and two brothers, Robert (Sherida) Wilcox of Dorset, OH, and James Wilcox, Jr. of Middlefield, OH. She is preceded in death by her mother; her daughter, Kimberly Mae Fraback; her grandmother, Ellen Smith; her sister, Sharon Buterbaugh; and her brother, Donald Wilcox. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH.
