Sara E. Cassidy

SARA E. CASSIDY, age 95, of Boardman, OH, died Friday, February 24, 2006, at Ron Joy Nursing Home in Boardman. She was born June 20, 1910, in Parnassus, Pennsylvania, to G. Fred and Edna (Crooks) Burford. Formerly a long time Kinsman resident, Mrs. Cassidy was a Kinsman High School graduate. She married Carl E. Cassidy on February 2, 1929. He preceded her in death on January 22, 1981. Also preceding her in death are her three brothers, Arthur, William, and J. Bennett Burford; and five sisters, Martha Burford, Edna Diday, Lillian Rutter, Margaret Quinn, and Virginia Eickleberry. Mrs. Cassidy is survived by her son, James G. (Janice) Cassidy of Boardman,OH; one brother, R. Beryle Burford of Jamestown, PA; three grandchildren, James (Shelley) Cassidy, Timothy (Connie) Cassidy, and Tracey (Ken) Altman; and one great granddaughter, Deanna Cassidy. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2006, at 10:00 A.M. at Kinsman Cemetery, Church St., Kinsman, OH. No calling hours will be held.
