Sharon L. Buterbaugh

Sharon L. Buterbaugh, age 63, of Williamsfield, OH, died Thursday, March 11, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown,OH. She was born February 24, 1947, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of James A. Wilcox, Sr. and Elsie M. (Racey) Wilcox. A lifetime area resident, Mrs. Buterbaugh was a 1965 graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School in Andover. She was a lifetime member of the Ashtabula County Antique Engine Club; and she enjoyed doing ceramics, flower gardening, listening to 50s music, and she loved animals. Mrs. Buterbaugh is survived by her husband, Lloyd W. "Butch" Buterbaugh, whom she married November 7, 1965, of Williamsfield; her son, James L. (Vivian) Buterbaugh of Wayne Township, OH; her daughter, Emily L. Stull of Chardon,OH; her father, James A. Wilcox, Sr., of Wayne Township,OH; a brother, Robert (Sherida) Wilcox of Dorset, OH; two sisters, Sandra (Arl Lee) Giddings of Wayne Township,OH, and Shirley Garvey of Wayne Township, OH; a brother, James Wilcox, Jr. of Middlefield,OH; two grandchildren, Kyle (Taytum) Slusher and Kelly (Lee) Steffey; and five great grandchildren, Austin, Hayley, Vincent, Allyson, and Jordyn. She is preceded in death by her mother; grandmother, Ellen D. Smith; and a brother, Donald Wilcox. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio, with Pastor Jason Hockran officiating. Burial will follow in Williamsfield Center Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday, March 14th from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
