SHARON M. KEPNER, age 46, of Windham, Ohio, died of an aneurysm on Sunday, November 5, 2006, at Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio. She was born June 24, 1960, in Greenville, PA, to Perry J. and Nancy (McMahon) Kepner. Formerly of Houston, TX, Cleveland, OH, and Chicago, IL, Sharon recently returned to Windham, OH. She was a 1979 Joseph Badger High School graduate; and attended Bowling Green State University and Cuyahoga Community College. Sharon also completed floral design at the David Hixson Floral School in Cleveland. She was employed as a banquet events coordinator in Cleveland, OH, and Chicago,IL, for many years. Sharon attended the Edinburg First Church of God in Edinburg, OH; and she enjoyed gardening, flowers, and floral arranging. Sharon is survived by her mother, Nancy Kepner of Hartford,OH; sister, Debbi (Ray) Duda of Cortland,OH; brother, Paul (Tina) Kepner of Hartford,OH; sister, Maribeth Kepner of Jacksonville, FL; and three nieces, Stefanie Duda, Perri Peters, and Jennifer Klingensmith. She is preceded in death by her father. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 7 P.M. at the Hartford United Methodist Church, 6846 St. Rt. 305, Hartford, OH. A private burial will be held on Thursday at West Street Cemetery, Hartford,OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trumbull County 4-H Endowment Fund, C/O Ohio State University Extension office, 520 West Main St. Suite 1, Cortland,OH 44410, or to the Hartford United Methodist Church.
