SHIRLEY M. HOLLIS, age 74, of Williamsfield, Ohio, died Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at Andover Village Retirement Community in Andover, Ohio. Mrs. Hollis was born July 14, 1932, in Cherry Valley Township, OH, to Karl and Stella (Giddings) Woodin. A lifetime area resident, Mrs. Hollis was employed by Andover Industries for several years. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharist Minister for several years. Mrs. Hollis' hobbies included gardening and doing puzzles. Mrs. Hollis married Wilfred Hollis on May 2, 1953, and he died in 1991. Also preceding her in death are her parents; a grandson, Raymond Weese in 1990; a great granddaughter, Kylee Brown in 2004; and a brother, Lloyd Woodin. She is survived by three sons, Gerald Hollis of Orwell, OH, Brian (Jackie) Hollis of Williamsfield,OH, and Steven (Julie) Hollis of New Lyme,OH; two daughters, Kathleen (Brian) Zolo of Gahanna,OH, and Mary (Dwain) Weese of Williamsfield,OH; two brothers, Karl (Coral) Woodin of Dorset,OH, and Richard (Joyce) Woodin of Akron,OH; two sisters, Donna (Raymond) Webker of Andover, OH, and Doris (Andy) Furiga of Mesa, AZ; one sister-in-law, Carol Woodin of Carlsbad, NM; 14 Grandchildren; and 10 Great Grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Andover, with Rev. Kevin McCaffrey officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover. Calling hours will be on Friday, January 5th from 5 to 8 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH.
