Shirley A Kotnick

Shirley A. Kotnick, 76, of Roaming Shores, Ohio died on May 16, 2013 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Andover, Ohio. She was born on October 5, 1936 in Marysville, Ohio to Charles L. and Doris (Collinson) Orahood. Mrs. Kotnick worked as the manager/cashier at the Hostess/Wonder Bread store in Andover for many years until it closed, and then in Madison, Ohio until her retirement in 1989. She enjoyed many things including gardening, bird watching, horses, and spending time with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Richard Orahood. She is survived by her husband, Ronald W. Kotnick, whom she married on March 4, 1988. She is also survived by son, Michael (Kathy) Hartz of Middlefield, Ohio, daughters, Brenda (Glenn) Haist of Roaming Shores, and Rhonda (Jeff) Steen of Andover, step-daughters Stephanie (Chip) Browning of Ashtabula, Heather (Kevin) Price of Idaho, step-son, Brian Kotnick of Cheyenne, Wyoming, brother Ronald (Mary Jo) Orahood of Andover, sister-in-law, Marian Orahood of Andover, and 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio at 2:00 pm. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover.
